50ml Blackeye Gin
Light Tonic Water to top
Orange to garnish
Serve
Build in a goblet glass full of cubed ice and garnish with a whole orange wheel.
THE BLACKEYE DRY MARTINI
Informally regarded as “The Haskell”, this martini certainly packs a punch, with lashings of delicious Blackeye Gin and a hint of dry vermouth. It’s no wonder that this is James’ favourite.
Ingredients
60ml Blackeye Gin
10ml Dry Vermouth
4 Dashes of Orange Bitters
Orange to garnish
Serve
Stir all ingredients, strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with an orange twist.
The Blackeye Lemon Drop
With the more playful name, “Payne Killer” is Alex’s drink of choice, bringing respite and relief no matter the storm.
Ingredients
50ml Blackeye Gin
25ml Triple Sec
25ml Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp Caster Sugar
Zest of ¼ of a Lemon
Serve
Shake all ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled coupe rimmed with a mixture of sugar and lemon zest.
